What is the difference between a 90W Adapter and a 65W Adapter?

Its for my Laptop HP dv6000

I

Answer:

See which one your laptop comes near. You can have any that or a higher number (for example if it comes beside 65w you can use 90w as well). It won't give you more good thing using an adapter with difficult amount power. The higher watt is the more expensive and/or bigger the adapter get . So you always want to buy the factory owner recommended power supply.
about 25W
the differance is contained by the amout of current the adapter puts out. You need to use the correct one for your laptop.
You pounding me to it Kev.
25W
Wattage is power, and the ability to dissipate (radiate) grill. 90W is likely to closing longer.
Be sure to use the right one. Watts really doesn't signify how much power is being used. You can build an educated guess if they are made from equal manufacturer.
Besides the measurable, it really depends on how much power your laptop requires. If it needs 65... the 90 will burn it out. If it requirements 90, the 65 will have it struggling.

Look up your model number (found on the bottom, should enjoy power consumption down there also) consequently google it. Your pc spec's will let somebody know you which adapter is best.

I'm betting on the 90, but I could be wrong.
If you run power USB devices or have added PCMCIA devices the extra power may prolong the energy of your power supply.
