What brand of word processor dose a mac book come near?

I would resembling to know what kind of word prossessor it comes next to becuse i am looking at buying one. I am also confused about it becuse the one i looked at at a store have microsoft word on it?

As far as I know microsoft word-
I just bought one and I have the options of getting microsoft organization - very expensive and it is by microsoft so it sux...or iworks...I go with the iworks...

and the pages program on iworks can liberate things to be used in MS word as resourcefully as in other formats...
