What should I look at when buying a laptop?

Answer:

unmerited question. what are you going to use it for?
amount of strike 1gig for a new one,

size of tricky disk 100 gig + for an bright one

vista or xp

does it have an ethernet card wireless access, bluetooth.

for second mitt ones the operating system disk if the owner has it, do not draw from windows millenium it is crap and no longer supported second paw computers are by their nature dodgy and should one and only be bought if the price is very honest and you can get someone you trust to hand over it a lookover.
The CPU speed is the first thing to look for. Make sure the processor is of a dutiful brand (usually intel core duo, or amd athlon). Then you should look at the hard drive... this is a personal choice, as some associates may not need as much space as others. But a disk beside 100-150 gigs should do just fine. A multidrive beside lightscribe dvd dual layer writer. The largest strike you can afford (1 gig should be enough, but higher is better). Quality nouns and video cards (Nvidia). Depending on your application, a good sized peak with a big viewing angle. And a good software bundle including operating system (windows xp or vista).
