What anti-spyware software (if any) should I install on my laptop?

I enjoy a newish laptop (it's about 6 months old) that I've never really used much. I've be using it more lately and I was freshly wondering whether I should install some antispyware on it? My desktop has Spybot and Ad-aware. I really love Spybot contained by particular. I know Comcast have some anti-spyware thing, but I'm not sure if it's upright. What do you think? Thanks.

Answer:

I guess in that is no single fully loaded security program that will transport care of adjectives current security problems adjectives by itself.

You may need a combination of them or choose the best one to protected your computer.

Install the free AVG anti virus from www.grisoft.com

Or, the free Avira Antivir PE Classic from www.free-av.com

Or, Free antivirus - avast! 4 Home Edition

Or, Free Anti-Virus Protection - Active Virus Shield

Or, do a free online virus scan and clean on www.antivirus.com

The above will run care of your virus problems. Additionally, you may want to install the most up-to-date Yahoo toolbar with anti spy button that verbs spy which steals your information. Get it from http://downloads.yahoo.com/
comcasts's is not good at adjectives. use zone alarm and AVG together. they work very economically. I've had 70,000 attempts to hack my PC and none of them succeded.
Use Spybot on the laptop as ably. You already know its good.
You must hold a firewall and an anti-viral. Spybot is good to own on it, but it is mostly passive. Antivir or avast are righteous active protectors. Not Windows Defender. It is roomy, slow and not as good.
