The cord is ripped on my current power adapter and I inevitability to get a unsullied one. I am browsing around for the best option. Anyone recommend an adapter for my Toshiba Satellite?

The volts are what business. Make sure those match up. Your laptop will use what watts it wishes and won't use the rest. Just make sure that it doesn't want more which I doubt it will. The higher wattage one might not get hold of as hot either. because it can fiddle with more but again that depends on how much is being drawn from the laptop.
I'm assuming you own the 120... and you're thinking of getting the 60 because its cheaper... most likely it would work freshly the same... although, your battery-operated may charge slower (with the 60W)
