What do i look for surrounded by a labtop when i want a labtop next to lots of memory for my music and video?
Answer:
It is not a labtop, but a laptop - this will serve you a lot surrounded by your research!
Also, when you talk to a sale person you should convey them you are interested in harddrive space, not memory. While these are similar contained by nature, they are also totally different. You want more storage space (harddrive), not memory (RAM) - 1GB of memory (RAM) should be fine unless you intend to do abundantly of Photoshop or 3D modelling.
Most laptops now come next to at least 60GB harddrives, this should be plenty for even the most avid music collector. If you intend to collect DVD trait movie files as well next you might want to go for a laptop beside a 120GB harddrive. Just keep surrounded by mind, you can always supply on an external drive via FireWire or USB if you ever run out of space.
Yeep he is right. More more storage you want more hard drive space. Memory help the overall speed of the PC.
