What Are The Top 5 Best Laptops underneath $500's?
Answer:
Dell usually have basic laptops for $320-$400.
They are accurate if you just want to do nuts and bolts like Word, Excel, etc..
Although their $600 laptops are clad. Those contain more for an extra $100. Its an investment.
You won't realistically get much for underneath $500. Maybe a dell?
You will be better to keep good your money until you can afford $800 MINIMUM. With Vista and the system requirements it has, any laptop within the $500 range will not operate ably and you will have HUGE buyers remorse. My guidance would be to look in the $1000 span and part of what you will want contained by the laptop you purchase loaded with Vista will be a minimum 1 GB RAM (Memory).
If you live within Southern California go to one of the computer swap meet and buy a good used P-II or P-III for below two hundred dollars, i am sure she will used it for many years conceivably and will work well for the Internet also.... I walk to the swap meet a Chino High university or Gable Airport in Upland, but if you live out of the nouns look up Golden West on the Internet in Riverside California..... They enjoy surplus P-III with DVD from Compaq or Toshiba for $200 or smaller amount...
go on ebay and buy an IBM T30. you should be capable of find one for around $300 to $400
