What can i do to get hold of my laptop to cool down?

Its not broken our anything its merely that the fan is completely noisy and keep my wife up.

Go to walmart and buy you a chill mat to put underneath it. . . It's about 25 dollars, but it's worth it.

Yeah your follower is going into overdrive because most notebooks own a temp sensor and when the inside gets to it the supporter trys to get it below which can head to nonstop squirt engine like racket. As suggested a laptop cooler will fix this but i would not recommend one from walmart they are worthless here is a better list.

go put it outside
Make sure the upper air vents are not dusted up, buy a cooling mat, or brand name sure there is plenty of aeration getting around the whole of it.
